First Cutting - Pluto LNG Train 2

A First Cutting ceremony at MMEC's Zhangjiagang modular yard kicked off the beginning fabrication of the Pluto LNG expansion project, known as Pluto LNG Train 2. This project is a Woodside onshore facility project and the second LNG train at the facility near Karratha in Western Australia. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an annual LNG capacity of 5 million tons.

MMEC's services are shop drawings for fireproofed steel structures and material procurement. MMEC's scope of supply includes the fabrication of LNG onshore processing plant steel structures, air-cooled condensers, non-destructive testing, structural steel galvanizing, and partial preventative fireproofing work.
