Another Shipment Underway
It's delivery day for Formosa Plastics products, marking the end of another successful project. All hands were on deck to transport modules, structures, and loose items from the MMEC workshop to the adjacent port for direct loading operations. MMEC was assisted by our partner Sino-Trans, for the third and final voyage heading to the USA. The loadout of almost 8,000 metric tons was completed smoothly, without incident, and all parties were impressed with the final result.
Point Comfort, Texas, is the destination of this Formosa Plastics Corp shipment, carrying process steel structures for the Polyethylene and Polypropylene Production Expansion Project. In addition, MMEC scope supplied the Polypropylene (PP2 Train 3 Project) with chemical plant structures, pipe racks, process modules, and secondary steel.
